FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS
I performed at a LEUKEMIA benefit last evening at the Marriot Sky Lobby last night. My old pal Sean McDermott was honored for his work in performing and donating his talents to thsi worthy cause.
It was an appreciative house and a really great time for all.
Ric Ryder, Glory Crampton, Marie Johnson, Patrick A'Hearn and myself sang. Richard Danley played an amazing piano He is terrific on the Keyboard.
The Jane Alissa Foundation for Leukemia was the name of the event.
I sang THOUSAND STARS for EVITA which was a joy and fun and OUR LOVE IS HERE TO STAY.
Sean sang duets with Glory and Marie two of his West SIde Story co-stars and Ric Ryder sang I FEEL THE EARTH MOVE gloriously and Pat A'Hearn did a smashing MUSIC OF THE NIGHT.
It was a treat to be able to sing for this Benefit and with these terrific performers. Pal Annie Albarian helped organize this even with gift baskets and all sorts of raffle prizes.
I was asked about the Cancers I have had and I hope that there will soon be some more progress against this terrible disease.
This past weekend was the MODERN showat teh 26th ST Armory.
Pals Oscar and Jeff had a booth with lots of their wonderful furniture and objects.
It was a beautiful show all around. I hope you got there. There is another one at the uptown Armory this coming weekend I am told.
Must go..

I love Sean! And am happy to see him here with the The Man Sal.
Tell him I said hello and he is still the handsomest guy in town.
And come back soon Sal! The casting offices need you!
